Hail Damage Cheat Sheet
Hail damage can occur pretty much anywhere if the atmospheric conditions are right. Max Consulting Services has produced a hail damage cheat sheet for property loss professionals to refer to when trying to identify how likely a particular structure was to have sustained hail damage on the date of loss specified by the insured.
This Hail Damage Cheat Sheet (attached here as a .PDF file) is to be used strictly as a tool and reference sheet. We have also attached the hail damage cheat sheet as a .jpg below in hopes that you can easily download and keep for your records on future inspections.
As a past HAAG Certified Roof Inspector for five years, managing member Dan Grifford III has been formally trained to inspect and identify hail damage on almost any structure in question. Furthermore, his extensive background in roofing and restoration gives him a unique perspective when inspecting for direct, indirect and collateral damage. His ability to accurately sketch and estimate in Xactimate helps expedite reporting, especially on large loss and technical claims.
